Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in Vogue's April issue is no joke. The couple is really on the cover of the fashion magazine -- in wedding-worthy fashion to boot.
Vogue just released the photo of the cover on Vogue.com, along with a video of the photo shoot shot by top photographer, Annie Leibovitz. The cover shows Kardashian in a voluminous white dress, wearing her 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring from West. The rapper, wearing a blue suit, has his arms wrapped around her. On top of the pic are the words, "KIM & KANYE THEIR FASHIONABLE TIMES AND SURREAL TIMES" plus the hashtag "#WORLDSMOSTTALKEDABOUTCOUPLE" that is most likely in reference to Kardashian's 13 million Instagram followers.
The video shows the engaged pair -- who are set to wed this summer -- behind the scenes during the shoot with their adorable baby daughter, North West. It's set to West's song, Bound 2 -- the song that had an explicit music video featuring Kardashian. In the shoot video, the voluptuous looker models some elaborate white wedding gowns, while her beau, clad in edgy gear, looks at her adoringly.
The reality darling and the hiphop superstar have reportedly wanted the Vogue cover for a long time. Kardashian has been very vocal in the past about wanting to be in the magazine and be accepted by the fashion industry, but a few years ago, it didn't seem possible. She was even said to have been banned from the Met Ball by Vogue chief Anna Wintour herself.
That all changed last year when the sexy brunette finally got to go to the event as West's plus one. She was reported to have gone to dinner with Wintour before the gala as well. Months later, the rumor mill buzzed with a Vogue sighting at the hiphopper's Yeezus concert in New York. Wintour, along with Vogue creative director Grace Coddington were spotted enjoying the show.
Kardashian is naturally thrilled about the cover. She posted a picture of it in her Instagram account, with the caption, "This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath! (sic) Go to Vogue.com to see the behind the scenes video!" Dream come true indeed.
