Batman's trusted butler; Alfred Pennyworth will definately show up in the Fox's new prequel TV series Gotham as an official photo of him has been revealed along with a young Selina Kyle, the future Catwoman.

The role of Alfred Pennyworth in the Gotham series will be played "Elementary" and "Camelot" actor Sean Pertwee. A full body picture of Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth was released by Fox on the official Tumblr page of the Gotham Series.

According to the show's producers, this version Alfred Pennyworth would be a tough-as-nails ex-M16 from East London, and has served the Wayne family ever since. At the moment of their deaths, he has become Bruce Wayne's guardian and protector and he will be a key witness to Bruce's rise as Batman.

Certainly this Alfred could play a major role in Bruce's life as well the Gotham's finest James Gordon (Ben McKenzie).

Alfred isn't the only one who made an appearance, last week a photo of a young Catwoman, Selena Kyle was shown and she is portrayed by newcomer, Camren Bicondova.

Selina Kyle in the series is a teenage orphan, and a thief in the streets of Gotham with a suspicious attitude and unpredictable nature. Will the young Selina Kyle have an influence over the young Bruce Wayne before their alter-egos will meet or will it be the catalyst in portraying their future personas?
