Orange is the New Black lovers can rejoice, as creator Jenji Kohan has revealed secrets for the Season 2 of the Netflix Series.
At a public appearance at "Paleyfest Panel" for the show, Kohan and several cast members spoke on the upcoming episodes.
Although Kohan has revealed little about the next chapter of the OITNB, she stated that Morello, Sister Ingalls, Taystee, Poussey and Ms. Rosa's backstories would be revealed in the next season, through the story-telling technique of earlier episodes.
"That's my favorite part of the show," star Jason Biggs, who plays Larry Bloom in the show, said in an interview with the Today Show.
"At the end of season one, I was like, Oh my god, there are still some characters who I want to see flashbacks for, so there's more of that. Which I love," Biggs said.
In addition, a new character named Vee's story will also be revealed, who, according to Today, is described as having involvement in a drug business than used children as runners.
Main character Piper's on-again/off-again relationship with Alex (Laura Prepon), was a key point in the first series. Although due to scheduling conflict Prepon said she would be leaving the show, according to an interview with the Today Show, she will still be returning for some of the episodes.
"Yeah, the funny thing is that it was a scheduling thing that happened with another project, and (showrunner) Jenji (Kohan) and I were like, cool, we're going to work it out so Alex can be in as many [episodes] as possible," Prepon said.
"The storyline that happened is going to be awesome and shocking and rad and fans are going to be really happy," she added.
Although Prepon would not acknowledge how many episodes she would be in, Buzzfeed reported her in four episodes, as of last November. Her end is also described to be reported as "open-ended" by the website.
Season 2 of Orange is the New Black is set to premiere June 6, 2014.
