Taylor Swift's dating woes are no surprise to anyone, but her newest courter spells out "Trouble" for the "22" singer.
According to the Associated Press, Timothy Sweet is accused of threatening to harm Swift and her family. Sweet was given a restraining order today and ordered to stay away from the singer, after he sent her threatening messages and showed up to her Beverly Hills and Nashville homes.
"Dearest Taylor, I'll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage," the man wrote in a message to Swift.
Swift stated that she feared for her safety and the safety of her loved ones, according to the Associated Press.
"Mr. Sweet's course of conduct, including threats to harm my family, are seriously alarming and harassing and are extremely distressing to me and my family," she said in a sworn declaration.
The restraining order covers Swift's parents and her homes in Nashville and Los Angeles.
Sweet has not yet been charged for making threats. He also did not attend Swift's court case or respond to the allegations against him.
News of the restraining order comes the same day that Radar Online reports advisors of Swift have suggested she take time off dating.
"Taylor's advisers are tired of setting her up on dates only to have her strange personality scare men away," one source revealed, according to Radar Online.
The singer, whose songs include "Love Story" and "We are Never Ever Getting Back Together," is known for keeping her heart on her sleeve.
"Taylor is almost impossible to find dates for because of the nature of her music, which focuses heavily on heartbreak and ex-boyfriends," the source said, according to Radar Online.
Having a stalker probably does not help either!
