SPOILER ALERT! It seems that the possible trailer of Michael Bay's reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has managed to surface on the internet and it has spread like a wild fire on a tropical forest thanks to several anonymous internet users.
Well we've seen what the turtles look like from several internet sources and toy figures, not to mention the appearances of Megan Fox and Will Arnett as April O'Neil and Vernon Fenwick in a teaser on Instagram. Looks like there is no use hiding the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie trailer, well not whole video, just the descriptions.
There are two descriptions of the trailer; one is revealed by an anonymous internet user while the other came from the CinemaCon event.
For the first the trailer, the anonymous user described the whole thing by stating:
"Oh my god it was great. Not the next Last Airbender by far. Jonathan Liebesmann seriously has his shit together with this. Only thing I can complain about is that there was barely any Shredder. The trailer gave me a Batman Begins kinda feel, as to where it seemed a lot darker than what we've seen before, probably on the level of the first movie in 1990."
Yeah, we'd probably get that feeling, the source came from Movie Plot and for TMNT fans who would "dare" want to see (and read) the whole thing go to the site find out more.
For the second description of the TMNT movie, this one came from the guys that attended CinamCon in Las Vegas, Nevada and a source from IGN described it like this.
"The TMNT trailer is a very brief teaser, but it definitely establishes the tone and look of this world. The focus is on April, a TV reporter in a city where crime runs rampant. We see a series of shots of SWAT/Spec Ops-type troops getting picked off, ninja-style, as they storm a building.
The voice-over of William Fichtner's villain the Shredder plays over these images of the raid and various shots of April on the job. Fichtner speaks of people's need for heroes. We see images of canisters ... ooze ... all as Fichtner explains to April that he and her father are responsible for the creation of the heroes we start to get quick glimpses of: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
We see the Turtles in action, fighting guys in a subway as April captures the battle on her smartphone. We see the Turtles sliding down a snow-capped mountainside, with one of them crashing shell-first into a Hummer. We also see Fichtner's character standing before ... a suit of the Shredder armor."
With all these descriptions and spoilers in our minds, we have to wonder what the trailer would look like when Paramount decides to release the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer. We might as well shout "Cowabunga!" if this turns out pretty great.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be directed by Jonathan Leibesman, and produced by Transformers film director Michael Bay. It stars Megan Fox as reporter April O'Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, April's cameraman and William Fichtner as the Shredder. The four ninja turtles will be played by Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, and Noel Fisher as Michelangelo.
