Samsung Galaxy S5 Vs HTC One M8; Same Class Of Competition But Dual Camera Gives M8 An Edge; Samsung’s Aggressive Marketing Strategy Captured Market Share From Apple, HTC

Samsung Galaxy S5 Vs HTC One M8 is a good comparison to note since both flagship phones were recently released and they are in the same tier of competition along with the anticipated iPhone 6.

HTC took the first jab at Samsung’s flamboyant unveiling at the Mobile World Congress 2014 held in Barcelona, tweeting "Buyer's remorse: Coming soon to S5 owners. March 25."

Sticking to their plans, HTC Corporation launched the M8 on March 25 touting the first smartphone outfitted with a dual camera. Analysts say that this could be the defining factor to edge out Samsung and Apple, should sales go well for HTC Corporation.

However, reviews have been mixed about the HTC M8’s camera features primarily due to a low resolution that has reviewers classifying the phone as leaving much to be desired.

The Taiwanese firm will have to wait and see how it fares against the Korean established smartphone maker as the M8 and the Galaxy S5 go head to head in a battle for market share. Once Apple’s iPhone 6 joins in, the scene will be quite different.

Most analysts agree that HTC’s new phone makes a distinct impression to be reckoned with and the M8 will give Samsung a run or their money with some spectacular specs and features. Nonetheless, analysts say, “Samsung is Samsung and it won't be easy for the Taiwanese company.”

One reason for Samsung’s fabulous success over the last couple of years has been its top notch marketing campaigns and the amount of money that goes into them.
