Suits Season 3 Episode 14 Recap: Previously on Suits, it has been well-established that Louis had been in a very serious relationship with Sheila. They had been in a long distance relationship, since she lives in Boston, while he lives in New York. Every weekend, he went to her place and commutes back to New York.
Unfortunately, he had been really stressing out his body. He was even late at his trial in court, but just in time to deliver his closing argument. He had conveyed a very convincing speech to the jury, but he broke down and suffered a heart attack.
Jessica Pearson delivered the bad news to Harvey Specter, Donna, and Mike Ross. They were definitely worried and wanted to be there for him. Donna rushed and went.
Louis being Louis, when he saw Donna by his bedside, he wanted to get out of bed and work. But, Donna made him promise to cut back. Sheila also went and scolded him. Louis apologized for having a heart attack, but it wasn't the reason why she got mad, she was mad when she saw him writing. When she had the chance to read what he wrote, it was a love letter for her. Louis then stood up, got on his knee and proposed. Of course, she said yes.
The couple had been discussing where to have the wedding and agreed that it should be in New York, since this was the place where it all started. Sheila said that after the wedding, they would move to Boston. However, Louis disagreed.
Later on, Sheila dropped by Louis's office and put a photograph of her in his table. Meaning, she was willing to move to New York. She was convinced when Louis told her that his family was Harvey, Jessica, Donna, Mike, and Rachel and these were the people who appreciate him. He also promised to give her the best life, but when he touched the issue regarding kids, everything changed. Sheila doesn't want kids, since they were very happy just the two of them and kids don't like her. She pointed out that she was willing to give up Harvard for him, but he cannot give up having kids. They both cried.
When Donna was about to leave, she saw Sheila crying by the elevator. She immediately went back and proceeded to Louis's office and sat beside him without saying a word. Definitely, Louis suffered from a physical and emotional heart attack.
