Looks like there will be new updates concerning Square Enix's two upcoming Role-Playing Games; Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 ,and they will be revealed at the upcoming E3 2014. Square Enix Ceo feels confident about the two games - is Final Fantasy XV the most expensive game in the series?
According to an interview by Japanese website Nikkei Trendy, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda talked about Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts and he feel confident enough that development of both games will not disappoint fans of the gaming series. He also mentioned several other games such as Final Fantasy Agito and Seiken Densetsu: Rise of MANA, defining them as a good start for 2014. Matsuda also mentioned the progress of the beta version of Nosgoth and confirmed a new Tomb Raider game at works.
Final Fantasy XV has been revealed around a year ago, during E3 2013. Gamers all over the world already knew some of the its details, though, as Final Fantasy XV has been in development for quite some time as "Final Fantasy Versus XIII", and one of the games in the Fabula Nova Crystallis saga.
Kingdom Heart 3 however has yet to have new information besides the new trailer and gameplay back in 2013. Will this year's E3 give fans a more in depth glimpse of new characters, new game features and possible a release date of Kingdom Hearts 3 as well as Final Fantasy XV.
Speaking of Final Fantasy XV, the game was mentioned to be the most expensive FF title of them all even surpassing Final Fantasy XIV. The claim came from Twitter account of Final Fantasy XV. Here is the tweet below.
Although sources say this Twitter account is unofficial, we can deny the fact that this title is something of an expensive project. Having years of delay and limited updates and no official release date. Not to mention a new staff member joins while another leaves for a new project. We can say that this FF fame has spent many pennies over its development and hopefully we get to see more of it along with Kingdom Hearts 3 at E3 2014.
