Louis CK hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend, with musical guest Sam Smith. The comedian's second time hosting SNL was a success, which opened with a hilarious monologue that included talk about God and wifebeaters. "Our father who art in heaven. What happened to our mom?" Louis CK contemplated. Then he philosophized, "Maybe that's what life is. Weekend with Dad." In another hilarious turn about the tank top called a "wife-beater," the comedian wondered out loud why no one found this name to be offensive. "There's a piece of clothing named after beating your wife, and somehow that's not offensive to anybody."

Other skits of the night included "Black Jeopardy" with host Alex Treblack (Kenan Thompson). Categories included "It's Been a Minute," "That Girl," " On Punishment," "Had That Been Me," "White People," and "PSHHHH." Contestants included Amir (Jay Pharoah), Keeley (Sasheer Zamata), and stand-out contestant Mark, a professor of African American Studies at Brigham Young University (Louis C.K), playing the "out of touch white guy" role. There were some hilarious questions, such as this one from the category "That Girl." Question: "She think she cute;" Answer: "Who is Monique?"

Many reviewers are hailing "Dyke and Fats" as the best skit of the night. "Dyke & Fats" was a pretaped segment starring the hilarious Kate McKinnon (a.k.a. "Les Dykawitz") and Aidy Bryant (a.k.a. "Chubbina Fatzarelli") as a pair of no-nonsense Chicago policewomen. The hair and chase scenes were spot-on for the 1970s cop shows feel they were going for in the credits. The ladies, whose boss Louis C.K., says at the end of the skit, "Yeah, good job Dyke and Fats," to which an indignant Dyke and Fats yells at him, "You don't get to call us that!!"
