There were hints that Kanye West was already working on a follow-up record to the critically acclaimed "Yeezus", but we didn't expect that it would be this soon; too soon that he moved his Australian tour this May to September to focus on finishing his new masterpiece.

The press release was announced by Jay Z's Roc Nation, which began managing West's Donda Music - a branch of his Donda creative house - in March, according to Rolling Stones.

"Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia," the statement reads. "The tour dates originally scheduled from May 2 to May 11, 2014 will now be played from September 5 to September 15, 2014. All tickets for the initially scheduled shows will be honored for the new dates," it reads.

While Kim Kardashian's husband still won't disclose details of the new album for 2014, he recently told Rolling Stone about what to expect:

"I think my next album is going to be eight songs," West shared. "It's just reducing down the amount of information that you need. People say a design is the point where you can't take anything else away. [ Yeezus ] was very, very designed. I took a departure from radio and popular music in order to get this seat here. If I hadn't made Yeezus, I wouldn't be sitting here with this cool font at Basel right here."

Vice also revealed that musician friends has also been dropping clues about the new Kanye West Album for 2014 with Q-Tip mentioning in one interview that he was producing the record; and spoken word artist Malik Yusef tweeting: "On my SOUL fam, watching this dude @kanyewest do music is like watching some type'a movie being made, this dud is has it! #GOODMUSIC #PVTPLN"
