Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini is in the making according to emerging reports.

Just as Samsung released a mini and zoon versions of the Samsung Galaxy s4, you can bet Samsung will do the same for the galaxy S5. It puts the new technology discovered from long hours of manpower to good use, since two editions of the phone would sell in both categories and add to revenue.

In fact, reports also mention an Active version but this version has not been a successful model for S5's predecessors.

News of the Galaxy S5 mini recently has leaked recently through a case maker. GSM arena published an article with a description of the specs. As rumored, the Samsung SM-G800 Galaxy S5 mini will sport a 4.5" 720p Super AMOLED display and will run on a Snapdragon 400 chipset with quad-core CPU. The mini would not need more power than this 400 chipset.

Added to that is 1.5GB RAM, 8MP rear and 2MP front camera16GB of expandable storage, IR blaster and a 2,100 mAh battery. Android 4.4 KitKat combined with TouchWiz should come pre-installed.

A couple of things the Mini might not sport is the acua proof and dust proof or even the heart rate sensor. These are a bit extraneous and may not be missed by Galaxy watchers.

Sammobile reports, "We exclusively confirmed that the Galaxy S5 mini would be launching after the Galaxy S5 (not that we needed that confirmation, given Samsung’s penchant for launching successors to both their successful and not-so-successful devices), and now we’ve got exclusive information on the S5 mini’s specs thanks to our insiders.

"Sporting model number SM-G800,the exclusive report Galaxy S5 mini will feature a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display with 720p resolution, an upgrade over the disappointing qHD resolution on the Galaxy S4 mini. It will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box like every device coming out after March, and will be powered by a Snapdragon processor – we weren’t told which chipset it would, though it will likely be a quad-core Snapdragon 400.
