Samsung Chrom 2 release date looms as recently announced its Chromebook 2. The first Chromebook came out in 2012. It looks like the Samsung Chromebook 2 is almost ready to make its deubt. Rumor has it that the Chromebook 2 release date is in mid-April.
Samsung's Chromebook 2 swerves around three new models in 11.6 inch and 13-inch versions and these have some tweaks inside and outside that adds to their appeal.The 11.6-inch Chromebook 2 will run consumers $319 and the 13-inch full-HD model will be around $399. Both models, the in 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch of screen sizes. The starring price is $319.99 and $399 accordingly.
The Chromebook is characterized by an improved battery and faster processors running its small laptops. Samsung is working on Chromebook 2's exterior, which is the 'faux pas leather that was initially used on Galaxy Note. Since then it has been used on other edition of Samsung Note smartphones as well.
The 11.6-inch Chromebook sports an impressive 8 hours of battery life, 720p HD display weighing just 2.4 pounds. The mini Chromebook ships with White and Black color options. The bigger 13.3-inch Chromebook 2 model, however, offers 8.5 hours of battery life, 1080p HD display and weighs about 3.09 pounds. This Chrome 2 version is sold in grey only.
Both variants of Chrome 2 run a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor. Samsung's upcoming devices are Chrome 2 and Galaxy S5, both of which make their debut in April.
The first Chromebook was available for $250, but the Chromebook 2 devices aren't under $300.
Analysts say that the modern chromebooks might not get the same results as the previous chrome laptop since the market for mobile devices is already saturated, reports apps.gizmo.
