Sheerios now have enough reason to rejoice! Ed Sheeran is going to full blast on a World Tour 2014 starting May 21.

Over the past year, Sheeran has been a success in the United States, but he has been a fixture in the UK music scene for years prior. He recently finished touring with his good mate Taylor Swift on the North American leg of her "Red" tour last year.

Sheeran's most successful single was the acoustic ballad "The A Team" which peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking it as Sheeran's first Top 20 debut in the US charts. "The A Team" was also shortlisted for Song of the Year at the Grammy Awards 2013. At this year's Grammy ceremony, Sheeran was again nominated for Best New Artist trophy.

But here's more good news! In time for his world tour for 2014, Ed Sheeran announced yesterday that he will finally unveil the first single, "Sing," from his highly anticipated second album, this coming Monday, April 7. The "Lego House" singer tweeted the news to the excitement of his loyal followers.

Sheeran also revealed that his second studio album is to be called "x" (read as multiply), to follow the theme of his last record "+",Sheeran's sophomore effort will be out worldwide by June 23. Sheeran worked with famed producer Rick Rubin, reknowned producer of Adele, beastie Boys and Jay-Z.

The song will be played in the morning of April 7 and will be available for purchase on iTunes Monday night.
