Godzilla, the extended trailer has been released and it highlights the epic destruction the monster will be causing when the movies arrives in theaters on May 16. It starts with a devastated Bryan Cranston, who tries to save his wife (Juliette Binoche), but has to shut the door before she can make it in order to save everyone else at the plant. Cranston tells some civilian that he's not crazy; he just wants the truth. A little girl notices something out in the and edges towards it, until her father picks her up and the whole crowd starts running inward as Godzilla approaches the shore, bringing a tsunami with him. And of course, tons of military who have no idea what they are fighting against are seen in the new extended trailer. There are a few glimpses of the monster throughout the extended trailer, until the very end when its face is finally shown, roaring at the audience.

The new Godzilla monster movie has raised expectations with its two riveting trailers and its top notch cast which includes Bryan Cranston ("Argo," TV's "Breaking Bad"), Aaron Taylor-Johnson ("Kick-Ass" "Anna Karenina"), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe ("The Last Samurai," "Inception"), Elizabeth Olsen ("Martha Marcy May Marlene"), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche ("The English Patient," "Cosmopolis"), and Sally Hawkins ("Blue Jasmine"). The Warner Bros./Legendary Pictures film will open in five international territories two days before it debuts in the U.S. on May 16; Japan, where Godzilla originates, has to wait until July 25. Legendary Pictures said in an official statement that the new Godzilla movie will be "An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure pits the world's most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence." The movie is directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Max Borenstein. The film is scheduled to be released in the U.S. on May 16, 2014 in 2D and 3D.
