Amanda Bynes' Twitter account was once the subject of controversy, but now it's a happy corner of the Internet. The former Nickelodeon actress is back and posting more on the social networking site, with her most recent tweets showing some spring break photos.

Bynes shared photos of her in a cheerful, yellow bikini, looking very happy in Mexico. The star has been studying at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), and is now celebrating the end of her first quarter. She is spending her much-deserved spring break with her parents, looking healthy and happy. She also took the opportunity to thank her fans by posting a photo of her smiling at the camera, with the caption, "Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes."

Bynes posted her first tweet after a long hiatus on March 1. She announced that she has gone back to school via a tweet that said, "Hi everyone! I'm busy studying at @FIDM but I want to say I love you to my fans! Xoxo Amanda."

She has since posted photos of her school life, and happy pictures with her family. There are photos of her with her mother, father, and sister, plus a series of tweets showed her at an FIDM event for aspiring fashion designers.

Bynes Twitter account is a stark contrast to the actress' troubled life last year. The 27-year-old blew up her Twitter account with strange tweets for months. She then allegedly started a fire in a residential driveway, and landed herself in involuntary psychiatric care. She was then moved to a treatment facility and spent six months as an inpatient. It was only in December 2013 when she finally got to come home to her family.

Now Bynes appears to have started anew, both in real life and her online life. She was able to strike a plea bargain with regards to a DUI arrest she was involved in back in 2012. Aside from school, she has been spotted getting dropped off by her parents at the gym. She has deleted all her tweets prior to March 1 as well.
