If the real James Franco asks you out, wouldn't you be so proud to share it with millions of people around the globe?
The 17-year old girl named Lucy from Scotland owned this unexpected chance to make other girls jealous after posting a series of flirty messages sent by Franco.
Some of Franco's messages went like:
"Where do you live?"
"Do you have a bf?"
"What's your number?"
"Can I see you?"
"Should I rent a room?"
Franco did not get a definite answer from Lucy. But according to the girl's tweet, "Rejecting James Franco has to be the hardest thing" she has ever done.
However, the actor tried to brush off the issue with an Instagram post responding to the "Why are you thirsty for the underage ones" meme:
"I'M NOT! I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you." He has since taken it down.
With a quick turnaround of events, Franco finally admitted that this is true.
In his recent appearance on the Live with Kelly and Michael show, the 35-year old celebrity shares, "It feels awkward... I'm embarrassed."
But more than the humiliation, Franco also realized a couple of things about the social media: "I guess I'm just a model of how social media is tricky. It's a way people meet each other today, but what I've learned is you don't know who's on the other end. ... I used bad judgment and I learned my lesson."
This revelation however, also generated controversial speculations after his upcoming movie "Palo Alto" was taken into consideration. Here, Franco plays the role of a high school soccer coach who builds an affair with one of his teenage players.
