If you don't know, One Piece is the best-selling manga of all time and its status isn't going to drop any time soon as One Piece is the most in-demand manga right now in the Japan.

The Anime News Network released a list that shows which manga's in Japan had the most number of printed copies to accommodate the huge demand from the fans.

The Anime News Network also added that:

"The joint May/June issue of The Tsukuru magazine published a chart listing the top 15 manga volumes for three major publishers - Kodansha, Shogakukan, Shueisha - in the last 12 months based on first printings. The chart reflects the print runs from April 2013 through March 2014."

There is also a rumor going around in Japanese blogs and forums where it is said that a One Piece live-action movie is going to made this 2014 however, this information was apparently from the Japanese image board 2chan so at best this rumor won't happen at all.
