PlayStation gamers all over the world are celebrating right now because the "Last of Us" PS4 version has just been confirmed!
The ad for the "Last of US" PS4 version has appeared on the PSN store confirming that the is "Last of Us" PS4 version is an HD remaster!
Previously PS software market manager gave some hints about the Last of Us PS4 version.
"There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically," PlayStation software market manager Sercan Sulun told Turkish gaming site Multiplayer.
According to Sulun, "The Last of Us" PS4 re-release will include the all game's DLC namely, the "Abandoned Territories" DLC that introduced new maps for multiplayer and "Left Behind", a single-player prequel starring Ellie.
The developers are also planning a third add-on to further enhance the game's multiplayer. They've yet to announce any details on this DLC pack.
The PS4 version of "Last of Us" will come with a host of technical improvements, too as it is expected that the "Last of Us" PS4 version will run on native 1080p at 60 fps.
Sercan Sulun didn't indicate in the interview whether Naughty Dog will be handling the "Last of Us" PS4 version or whether they've handed the project off to another studio. After all, Naught Dog is a bit busy right now as they're currently working on a new "Uncharted" game for PS4. The studio is also considering a sequel to "Last of Us". They may not have the time to handle the port themselves.
