Bobbi Brown will be taking over as Editor-In-Chief of Yahoo Beauty as Kate Upton is announced the new face of the cosmetic brand.

The makeup mogul announced the exciting news on her blog, Everything Bobbi, on Wednesday.

The founder and COO of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics said in a statement that Yahoo had been working over the past several months to put together an "all-star editorial team."

Katie Couric, Virginia Heffernan, Matt Bai and David Pogue are just a few names on the new team.

It seems like Brown is looking to change the stereotypical definition of beauty as she takes on the role of Editor-In-Chief for Yahoo Beauty.

The genius behind Bobbi Brown Cosmetics wrote on her blog, "As EIC, I'll work to curate smart, strong content that will teach women how to be their best selves."

The mogul continued, "Since 1997, I've written and published eight books that explore my beauty philosophy - be pretty, be confident, be who you are. I'm really proud of my work, and I'm so excited to bring these ideas to a broader audience through Yahoo, which has 800 million ... active monthly users."

She concluded, "That's a lot of pretty powerful."

Brown also stated, "I get to combine my interest in education and empowerment by curating amazing visual content that will teach women how to be their best selves."

The new editor stated, "Beauty is not just about makeup, it's about lifestyle and confidence."

Webpronews has reported that Brown will start her new position on April 21.

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics has also added to their team. Kate Upton will be the new face of the popular makeup brand.

Upton already announced the news on her Twitter, to the delight of fans all around.

Hopefully Kate will be able to represent the brand as well as Katie Holmes did.
