Jenny McCarthy has been continuously attacked due to her ant-vaccine beliefs.

For the first time, the co-host of "The View" has decided to speak about allegations that she is anti-vaccine in her article for the Chicago Sun-Times.

The 41-year-old mother-of-one stated, "This is not a change in my stance nor is it a new position that I have adopted."

She wrote in the op-ed for the Saturday paper, "For years, I have repeatedly stated that I am, in fact, 'pro-vaccine,' and for years I have been wrongly branded as 'anti-vaccine.'"

Jenny McCarthy continued, "Blatantly inaccurate blog posts about my position have been accepted as truth by the public as well as media outlets (legitimate and otherwise), who have taken those false stories and repeatedly turned them into headlines."

The former Playboy model explains, "For my child, I asked for a schedule that would allow on shot per visit instead of multiple shots they were and still are giving infants."

The blonde emphasized once more, "I believe in the importance of a vaccine program and I believe parents have the right to choose one poke per visit. I've never told anyone to not vaccinate."

Jenny McCarthy has been linking her 12-year-old son's autism to vaccination for years now.

Phil Plait of Slate has shut down McCarthy's article about being "pro-vaccine" by stating that, since she has implied that vaccines have toxins in them, it's clear that she is, in fact, anti-vaccine.

Plait emphasizes that there is simply no connection between autism and vaccines, which means there is no valid reason for McCarthy's years of anti-vaccine beliefs.

The actress is continuously getting berated on Twitter and various social media outlets for her anti-vaccine theories, despite her recent op-ed piece.

Researchers are also continuously shutting down the link between autism and vaccinations.
