Charlize Theron and Sean Penn are going strong.
The two will even be working together later this year. Page six reports that Charlize Theron will be joining her new boyfriend this summer for a new project, "The Last Face."
It has been reported that Sean Penn's ex-wife Robin Wright had originally tried to get the script developed, but had failed to do so.
There is speculation that the "Milk" actor is "using" Theron as an act of revenge against his ex-wife and mother of his two children.
A source wrote on The Wrap, "I hope Theron knows she's being played by Penn as a childish revenge tool against Robin Wright."
Sean Penn was previously only a member of the cast. The actor is now set to direct the film.
An insider told Page Six, "Erin Dignam was to write and direct with Robin to star. They couldn't get it financed and moved on. Years later, Erin sold the project to Matt Palmieri. Matt brought it to Sean to direct."
The Daily Mail reports that "The Last Face" will be about a doctor, played by Charlize Theron, who does humanitarian relief work in Africa.
Theron's character will eventually meet another doctor, played by Javier Bardem, as the two attempt to overcome the challenges that surround them.
The star of "Blue is the Warmest Color," Adele Exarchopoulos, will be playing a journalist.
"The Last Face" will reportedly be filmed in Africa.
The Sunshine Coast Daily reports that Sean Penn plans to propose to the "Young Adult" actress very soon.
The 53-year-old actress and his ladylove have reportedly moved in together in Los Angeles and have talked about adopting a child together.
