X-Men: Days of Future Past final trailer has been release and shows Wolverine meeting a younger Professor Xavier, Quicksilver in action, and many more! Plus is Channing Tatum playing Gambit in another X-Men movie?
The final trailer of the X-Men Days of Future Past was release today and it shows Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) going into the once The Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters meeting the younger and broken Charles Xavier ( James McAvoy) and Beast ( Nicholas Hoult) and tries to convince him to reform the X-Men and bust Magneto (Michael Fassbender) out of the Pentagon. They recruit Quicksilver (Evan Peters) to stage the rescue while Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) launching the first wave of March 1 Sentinels and all hell break loose in both past and future worlds as they battle the Sentinels.
The trailer might seem to be a dead giveaway, but when it shows in cinemas on May 23, it might be worth to watch.
With the hype of the movie going strong, director Bryan Singer wants to further raise the bar for another X-Men film, X-Men Apocalypse or a possible solo movie from another X-Men member and no it's not Wolverine this time but the card throwing, Raging Cajun mutant, Gambit.
Producer Lauren Shuler Donner were at talks with "22 Jump Street" star Channing Tatum and confirmed he would love to play Gambit, whether that would be in X-Men Apocalypse or a solo movie, that will depend on the treatment of the film.
Here is statement made from Channing Tatum in an interview with MTV.
"I met with Lauren Shuler Donner. And I would love it. Gambit is really the only X-Man I've ever loved. I mean I've loved them all, they're all great, but I guess from being down south - my dad's from Louisiana, I'm from Mississippi, Alabama, Florida - I don't know. I just related to him. He's just kind of suave... He's the most un X-Men X-Man that's ever been in X-Men. Other than maybe Wolverine, who's like the anti-hero. He's a thief. He's not even a hero. He's kind of walking the line of grey. He loves women and drinking and smoking and stuff so he's just a cool guy who happens to have a moral center. I hope it [comes together]. You never know it's a weird industry. If the stars align, I would die to play it. I'm already working on the accent. It's crappy at the moment."
Taylor Kitsch was the first person play Gambit in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so how would Channing Tatum pull this off? We'll just to find out more in the near future.
