Fans of the "Twilight" film series were excited to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reunite at the Coachella Festival. However, that didn't happen because the 24-year old actress decided to focus on her work first instead of attending the annual music and arts festival.
Kristen was planning to spend her 24th birthday in California to watch her favorite bands, but she decided to stay in New Orleans to prepare for her new film "American Ultra". Her ex-boyfriend Robert, on the other hand, was seen at Coachella with singer Katy Perry.
A source told HollywoodLife that the "On The Road" star was disappointed that she wasn't able to go to Coachella and hang out with the 28-year old actor and the "Roar" hitmaker. Kristen's attitude showed true professionalism because she had to sacrifice what she truly loved for her career.
A close friend of the actress revealed, "Kristen is super bummed that she missed Coachella. She planned on going, but decided to stay in New Orleans since shooting starts tomorrow [Tuesday, April 15]. She wanted to be fresh and rested."
Too bad we weren't able to witness Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart together again. I'm sure the actress felt really bad about it since this concert would be the perfect opportunity to reconcile with her old flame.
The insider said, "Of course she's disappointed that she didn't get to hang out with Rob - that was really the main reason she wanted to go in the first place. But we sent her funny pics and texts and so did Rob." Awww, that's so sweet of him to do!
While Kristen was spending her birthday alone, the British heartthrob was seen having a great time with Katy at the festival. I wonder how Bella feels about that. Her friend said, "Kristen doesn't care if Rob and Katy spend time together." The friend added, "She knows they are just friends. She just wishes she could have been there, but her works comes first."
Looks like the actress is more mature now and trusts her ex-boyfriend. Do you think that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will get back together soon?
