It's been a while now since Miriam Weeks has been outed as the Duke University porn star.

Since then, the 18-year-old has gotten quite a bit of attention, both good and bad. Despite the death threats and public humiliation that she had been receiving, Miriam Weeks decided to return to school.

She has also been openly talking about the treatment of sex workers and how it should change.

Guyism recently did an interview with the now famous porn star of Duke University where she spoke of how rewarding her job is.

She also talked about the strangest place she's ever been "intimate" with someone. We have to say, it was quite shocking.

In regards to the publicity she's been getting as of late, Miriam said, "This is truly exciting! I think that my experience - especially the harassment and death threats and public humiliation I have faced - and the fact that I'm speaking so openly about it all - has really shocked people."

It seems that the Duke University porn star has had an effect on quite a few college students.

ENStarz has reported that the rise of Belle Knox may be the cause for the increased number of applicants at strip joints.

The NY Post reported that Knox will be appearing at the all-nude Show Palace in Queens on May 2. Since the news broke, many young females, mostly in college, have applied for a position on stage.

Club manager Mike Diaz said, "We are getting bombarded, five to 10 applicants a day. The Knox story is bringing them in."

Students from both Queens College and NYU have applied to strip, only to get rejected.
