Lana Del Rey recently debuted the new single to her upcoming album, "Ultraviolence"

"West Coast" was first heard by Lana fans at Coachella, then a thousand times afterwards on YouTube.

"West Coast" is addictive, beachy, and seductive, just like the west coast and Lana Del Rey.

As fans wait in anticipation for any more hints about "Ultraviolence," Lana Del Rey has had to deal with some drama of her own.

Lana Del Rey's production company is being sued for an altercation involving a knife, according to The Independent.

Karl Larsen, a photographer, is suing the company after he was allegedly assaulted by three men, one of whom was carrying a box cutter. Larsen was reportedly trying to photograph the singer on set.

The lawsuit, which has been obtained by TMZ, states that the incident occurred last June while Lana was filming "Tropico"

The men, who were employed by Black Hand Cinema, reportedly told Larsen not to take pictures and even threatened to take his camera equipment, which is worth $14,000.

One of the men reportedly slashed the photographer's finger with the knife, then took his camera and erased the memory card. His finger required stitches afterwards.

Larsen is asking $1 million in damages from Black Hand Cinema.

The photographer claimed that the production company reportedly has a reputation for "intimidating photographers."

Both Lana Del Rey and her people have yet to comment on the incident.

Although we know that Lana Del Rey's third studio album is going to be insanely dark, there has yet to be a tracklist released.

Idolator.com reports that Lana may have tweaked the tracklist because of the constant leaks of her unreleased songs.

After she had mentioned that "Black Beauty" will be on the album, a demo of it leaked. Soon afterwards, leaks of other songs, including "Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight" followed.

The "Once Upon A Dream" singer stated, "I do feel discouraged, yeah. I don't really know what to put on the record. But I guess I could just put them on and see what happens."

She told Radio.com that her life has been "completely invaded" and that slowed down the work on "Ultraviolence."

Lana "moved on to a more spiritual place lyrically" for this new album.

Make sure to listen to "West Coast" and "Black Beauty" to get a feel for the album. The release date for "Ultraviolence" is still speculated to be May 1.
