Aside from Easter Sunday, 420 celebrities found another reason to have a party - and that is National Pot Day! For those who aren't aware of what 420 (four-twenty) means, it is a term used by the cannabis subculture to smoke pot around 4:20 p.m. while others do it at around 4:20 a.m. But the biggest celebration for marijuana users in the United States is on April 20 (4/20).
Instead of going on an Easter egg hunt, some famous personalities spent their Easter Sunday smoking weed to celebrate 420. There are other musicians and actors who showed their support for marijuana via Twitter and Instagram. Here's what some 420 celebrities got to say about marijuana day:
Known for being a pothead, SnoopDogg posted a photoshopped picture of himself on Instagram wearing a pink Easter bunny outfit and carrying a basket full of weed. His caption was: "Happy Easter. Hahahahahahahah 2funny. 420!!!" If that Easter bunny would come hopping at your door, would you let him in?
Miley Cyrus, who has been caught smoking pot several times, tweeted to her millions of followers, "boutta be the wackest 4/20 ever"
Neil Patrick Harris, or commonly known as Doogie Howser, made a joke about Easter Sunday and 420. He tweeted, "It's Easter and 4/20? The Reece's Peanut Butter Egg must be quite the desirable commodity today!"
The list won't be complete without weed master Seth Rogen, who posted an instructional video on YouTube. He tweeted, "Happy Easter and 4/20. In honor of both, here's my video of how to roll a cross joint" Check out his video:
Seth Rogen revealed his list of weed buddies a few months ago, but surprisingly his "Pineapple Express" co-star wasn't in the list. However, James Franco showed his support for National Pot Day by posting a picture of his character Saul Silver smoking pot on Instagram. His caption for that photo was: "AND SAUL SAYS, "HAPPY 420." BE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!"
