Here's some good news SAO fans, Sword Art Online season 2 will begin streaming in the international scenes this summer by Aniplex as they also a "Sword Art Online Awards" this coming April. So here's the latest scoop.

Aniplex USA made the announcement that Sword Art Online season 2 will air in Japan this summer and they also held premiere screening events in the United States, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. Further details will be announced very soon regarding the streaming and premiere of SAO season 2.

Aniplex also announce the "Sword Art Online Awards," a fan- interactive event that enables fans of the anime series to vote on a number of categories such as Best Male Character, Best Female Character, and Best Episode. Will they cast Kirito as best male character or will Asuna take the crown of best female character? The possibilities are limitless as voting will start on April 20 in Japans official website of SAO.

Sword Art Online season 2 plot is based on the Phantom Bullet arc as Kirito is in a new game called Gun Gale Online and will also features the female sniper Sinon in her animated TV debut becoming Kirito's rival turn ally in the season 2.
