Gwen Stefani had her third baby, Apollo Bowie Flynn Rossdale, on February 28, 2014. Apollo is now about 2 months old and looks like the "Cool" singer is ready to get back to work! According to Us Weekly, Stefani will be replacing Christina Aguilera as a coach on season 7 of the popular singing reality show "The Voice." Multiple sources connected to "The Voice" reported the news; due to Aguilera's pregnancy, Stefani will be taking over her spot on the singing competition series, which will begin filming its new season in June of this year. Stefani's position as a judge isn't permanent; Aguilera will reportedly be back in her spinning chair for Season 8 after pregnancy. Stefani will be coaching alongside another new judge, Pharrell Williams, as well as long time mentors Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Us Weekly also reported that a source said that the No Doubt singer's "contract is now done." Earlier this week, an NBC rep told the site, "We haven't made any decisions at this point."
According to TMZ, producers began searching for a replacement for Christina Aguilera after the "Your Body" singer announced her pregnancy back in February. Although the network wanted Aguilera to stay on during her pregnancy, but the singer has been struggling to keep working and opted to sit out the season to have her baby.
Gwen Stefani was also seen in a selfie posted by the newly single Gwyneth Paltrow on her instagram. The epic celebrity selfie (perhaps inspired by Ellen Degeneres' now infamous selfie at the Oscars) featured Stefani with pals Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie, Stella McCartney, Chelsea Handler, Naomi Watts and Sam Taylor-Wood at a vegan meal at Crossroads in Hollywood last Thursday. Paltrow captioned the Instagram post on Friday: "#girlsnight #latergram."
Stefani and her husband Gavin Rossdale also have two other adorable little boys: Apollo's brothers Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5.
