True Blood Season 7 is upon us, and spoilers can be seen in the latest teaser from HBO. HBO just released the first footage from season seven of its popular vampire show True Blood, which stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Ryan Kwanten, Joe Manganiello, Sam Trammell, and Alexander Skarsgaard. The full teaser can be watched below. Alexander Skarsgard is noticeably absent from the teaser as his character Eric's fate was left up in the air at the end of last season; he was last seen naked burning in the sun in season 6,.
"There was an attack at the church tonight," Sookie (Anna Paquin) says at the very beginning of the clip. It seems that there was an ambush by the vampires and Sookie's voiceover indicates that the government is not doing anything to help even though people are crying out for it. There are some shots of dead non-vampire bodies and then Sookie ominously says "There's no one left."
The new and last season is rumored to feature some deaths of main characters, new villains nefarious businessman Mr. Gus and The Figure (a serial killer who will be introduced in the season premiere), and feature some new revelations about Bill Compton's past. True Blood fans will also get to know more about Hepatitis V.
The popular show which follows the vampires and non-vampire citizens of Bon Temps will premiere its seventh and final season on June 22 at 9 PM on HBO. You can use #TrueBloodForever on Twitter to keep yourself updated with newest True Blood.
