Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Release Date Confirmed As Rise Kujkawa Joins The Game And New 'Golden Arena Mode' Features RPG Elements, Level Up Skills, Customization And Social Links!

The sequel to the Persona 4 Arena 2D fighting game, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax release date has been confirmed for the PlayStation 3 as Persona 4's Pop idol character Rise Kujikawa is now a playable character in the game, and new "Golden Arena Mode" let's player experience some RPG style levelling up. So let's get ready to brawl with Persona characters!

Gematsu reported that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will launch for the PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 28 at price of 6,980 yen ($60) as stated by Famitsu, while VG24 7 reported that the Xbox version of the game is said to be available in western region by autumn.

Gematsu also reported that Rise Kujikawa will be a playable character and a shadow version of her will also be included. It was leaked earlier by this week's Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation that Rise, who in the previous Persona 4 Arena was a NPC and Navigator will now join the fighting sequel, courtesy of a vote listing along with Ken Amada of Persona 3.

A new "Golden Arena Mode" has also been added as battle tournaments will incorporate some RPG style elements, Players can level-up and learn over 150 new skills in the fight, customize any of your favorite characters, and build Social Links with the navigator characters. These new update will be added in the arcade version at the end of April.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is developed by Arc System Works and Atlus, and it is set few days after the first game as the cast of previous game go at it again in the new P-1 Climax.
