Looks like Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb has dropped a bombshell earlier, as he hints on adding the Daily Bugle editor in chief J. Jonah. Jameson in the Amazing Spider-Man 3, and will we see J.K. Simmons play Jameson once more in the big screen?

In an interview on Google+Hangout, the cast of Amazing Spider-Man 2 along with director Marc Webb were there to promote Spidey 2 movie, and answer various questions from the fans. During the show, a question was ask whether J. Jonah Jameson will make an appearance in the Amazing Spider-Man universe, and who will feel in his shoes in the next movie? Although Webb couldn't say for sure, he was open with the idea stating that.

"I like the idea very much of him coming up in the next film. It was more easy to accept a new Spider-Man than someone who could outdo J.K. Simmons in that role, he is so iconic. That's something we've really talked about. Obviously I love that character because he poses such an interesting dilemma for Spider-Man. The answer is I don't know, but I think you can expect to see him in the future."

There is no denying that J.K. Simmons owned the character as he was heavily praise for the role during his run in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy. We could probably see J.K. Simmons return as the Daily Bugle editor in the future Spidey films, such as Amazing Spider-Man 3 or even Amazing Spider-Man 4. Simmons stated before that he was open to play as Jameson one more time.

J. Jonah Jameson in the Marvel universe has been a big part of the Spider-Man comics as well as different media, such as in animated shows, games, and films. We might see him in the future Spidey films, and it will be more awesome if J.K. Simmons does it again, one more time.

So Marvel fans, what do you think of J.K. Simmons returning as J. Jonah Jameson?
