Looks like ABC's superhero spy drama; Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comes to an end, as a release date for the season 1 finale has been confirmed, and a promo trailer for episode 20 shows our heroes being cornered on both sides by Maria Hill and Deathlok. Will there be an Agent Carter Series?
The promo trailer for the episode 20 titled "Nothing Personal" features the return of Maria Hill and Deathlok on the show, and they are putting Agent Coulson's team backed in a corner between a rock and hard place. The video shows the United States Military led by Glenn Talbot (Andrian Pasdar) raiding the secret base where Coulson and the others are hiding, and it was revealed that Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) told them the location. Meanwhile both Skye (Chloe Bennet) and Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) are on the run as the FBI is after them but they are not the only ones that are looking for them. We see in the end of the promo that Deathlok (J. August Richards) pounced on a car where Skye is and attempts to attack her. Talk about a very pulse pounding episode next week.
All jokes aside, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 1 finale draws near as the season finale is set to air on May 13 this year. Creators of the show Josh Whedon and Maurissa Tanchareon are optimistic about having a Season 2 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and they are planning to kick-start the series with a special TV movie.
They're also talks about a possible Agent Carter series and whether Marvel and ABC will team-up again to do either season 2 or Agent Carter series. There are still many questions in mind for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. like the blue alien Coulson found was a Kree and who is the person in charge of the T.A.H.I.T.I. project besides Nick Fury?
We'll just have to find out more updates about the show very soon.
