Chris Brown's hopes of getting out of the jail remain clouded as ever. His assault trial is delayed for the second time, moving the schedule to June. Luck is definitely not on the side of the R&B singer this time, considering the denial of his bid for freedom. This would mean he would have to stay jailed for quite some time more.

The singer is currently caged after punching a man in the face in October last year. The incident took place outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C., according to the complainant named Parker Adams. The complainant also filed similar charges against Brown's bodyguard. The bodyguard was already convicted last April 21 after admitting that he indeed hit the complainant first.

It could be recalled that Brown previously got into trouble after attacking his former girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009. In fact, the mauling incident with Adams happened while Brown was availing of his five-year probation in California from the charges filed against him by his ex-girlfriend.

Nevertheless, the singer still has good things to be thankful for. For one, his current girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, has never left his said and continued to show support to him while he was on jail. A source related to the couple shared, "He told her he's tired and that he couldn't sleep and how he doesn't know if he'll be able to fall asleep because he's nervous."

Meanwhile, Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, further stated, "I don't think there's any doubt Chris Brown is not guilty." The lawyer also highlighted the importance of the bodyguard's testimony and emphasized that this is one of those situations that call for extension of immunity.

The trial schedule for Brown is set to June 25.
