The third and final Hobbit movie, originally titled "There and Back Again," has gone through a title change.

Variety reports that Peter Jackson, director of the Hobbit franchise, announced on his Facebook page that the Hobbit "There and Back Again" will now be titled "Battle of the Five Armies."

Although plot details for "There And Back Again" are sure to change, a lot of the cast is to remain the same.

According to Ontheredcarpet, Richard Armitage, who plays Thorin Oakenshield in "The Hobbit" trilogy, will be reprising his role as the leader of the dwarves.

You'll be able to see some familiar faces in "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies."

It has been reported that Martin Freeman will be returning for his role as Bilbo Baggins while "Sherlock" star Benedict Cumberbatch will come back as the voice of Smaug the dragon.

Evangeline Lilly, Orlando Bloom and Cate Blanchett will be reprising their roles as elves Tauriel, Legolas and Geladriel.

The talented Ian McKellen will take on the role of wizard Gandalf once again while Luke Evans is set to play Bard the Bowman.

During an interview with Ontheredcarpet, Armitage unintentionally revealed some spoilers of the plot for the upcoming "Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies."

The 42-year-old actor stated, "There's a couple of big surprises. The one thing I'm really looking forward to is seeing the Battle of the Five Armies."

The highly anticipated battle is an integral part of the plot.

It is reportedly described in "The Hobbit" novel as the epic fight that has "pitted the evil goblins - some riding on wargs, or beasts - against the dwarves and allies, the elves, the eagles and men, as well as a skin-change, or shape-shifter, named Beorn."

Oakenshield is set to fight as well.

Armitage assured fans by saying, "I think it will be probably quite a cinematic event."

"The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" is set for release on December 17.
