Despite all the breaking up rumors, the One Direction boys promise to stay as one as long as their fans continue backing them.
Knocking down allegations of them splitting, 1D reveal to The Sun that they are in the midst of recording a new studio album for this year.
"We always hear rumors about us splitting - but we're not," Harry Styles said. "We've already started recording our fourth album."
Niall Horan second the notion when saying, "The fact we have an album coming should put these rumors to bed. We're here for as long as the fans want us."
Other One Direction member, Liam Payne, who saved his best friend from a fire last year, suggested that the groups collective goal is to repetitively distribute new music "year after year."
After their three month break, One Direction is now in South America for their "Where We Are Tour." In fact, they have future shows in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and Rio de Janeiro.
Although the break was needed, Horan is thrilled to be working again.
"We're really close as a band. It was lovely to have time off, but now it's great to be back together and on the road. We're having a ball," Horan said of the tour.
Payne added, "Coming back together is like the first day of school. We don't want to go into the lessons because the social is too much fun."
