Is Manchester United interim manager Ryan Giggs up for permanent manager position next season?

Having admitted losing sleep before his sides win against Norwich, Manchester United's win against Norwich vindicated interim manager Ryan Giggs' team selection. Choosing the best side is always the hardest for any manager, Juan Mata who Manchester United bought from Chelsea for a whopping £37 million was left disappointed when he found out that he was left out of the lineup although scored a brace after coming in the 60th minute.

With all the superstars Manchester United has, prima donnas are not farfetched and could even be debated that this was the downfall of former manager David Moyes. Ryan Giggs however is "built to be a manager" if Wayne Rooney is to be believed, who also scored a brace, capping the night at 4-0.

Ryan Giggs knows that his time at Manchester is only temporary and that the next season will welcome a more high-profile manager with the likes of Louis Van Gaal, Pep Guardiola, and even Jose Mourinho being mentioned by pundits and United faithful alike.

Although a pipedream having Ryan Giggs as permanent manager may not be a bad idea, he does have the experience having been one of the under studies of the Legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. Let's not forget that he did come from United's youth academy and knows the philosophy of Manchester United.

Although admittedly, experience as a player does not automatically make you a great manager, but we have to look into the reign of Pep Guardiola in Barcelona FC: from former player to coach of the Barcelona B Team to the first team. Guardiola took them to new heights by winning the Treble on his first season as Manager. Pep knew the system and philosophy as does Ryan Giggs with Manchester United.

It warms the heart of every Manchester United fan that this is a possibility, from United's oldest player at 40 to Manager that can bring the team new glory next season after a dismal 2013/2014 season.
