Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 news: TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman claims that the Michael Bay produced film will make fans "very happy" and Diamond Select Toys introduces the Minimites figures of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
So far Michael Bay's vision of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was met with mixed response and criticism throughout the audiences, movie goers and diehard TMNT fans. In an interview with Comicbook.com, TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman described the people behind the scenes of the TMNT movie reboot as passionate and well-intentioned, with an "awesome" vision and "incredible" effects.
"It's been a four, almost five-year journey to bring the next Turtles movie to life since the time we pitched it. "I know everybody is like, 'Oh, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, he's gonna ruin it! He's gonna destroy it!' But everyone I have encountered has been nothing more than incredibly sincere to try and bring the Turtles back in a way that's new, fresh and exciting, but with total respect to everything that's come before. I've read the script. I have a cameo in the move. It's awesome - really fun."
He further added by saying.
"What they've done with the film is going to make fans incredibly happy, including myself. The vision is awesome, the effects are incredible and the story will be something everybody can relate to and like. I'll leave it out there for the fans to let us know what they like in the end, but I'm very proud to be part of it. A lot of people are going to be surprised."
Meanwhile, Diamond Select Toys unveiled a lot of new Minimites figures last weekend at C2E2 2014 event in Chicago, and it includes the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Several pictures of the TMNT Minimites were posted by ComicAlliance.com, and it shows characters from the Nickelodeon produced TMNT cartoon series. The characters shown include the turtles: Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, And Raphael, April O'Neil, The Shredder and the two Foot Clan ninjas, and the Krangs.
TMNT movie will be release on cinemas o August 8, 2014 and it stars Megan Fox, Johnny Knoxville, Pet Ploszek, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Alan Ritchson, Danny Woodburn, Tony Shalhoub, William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Minae Noji, Whoopi Goldberg, and Abby Elliot.
