Paul Walker's daughter's custody case is far from over as a judge ordered an independent attorney to finally determine who will raise Meadow Rain Walker. Meanwhile, the 15-year-old student reportedly felt betrayed by the actions of her grandmother.
When the "Fast and the Furious" star was killed in a car crash last November, his will named his mother, Cheryl Ann, as the guardian of Meadow. At the center of the custody case is his $16 million estate.
But Cheryl Ann petitioned the court that Paul Walker's daughter's custody guardianship be dismissed citing an agreement with Rebecca Jo Soteros on who will care for the teenager. According to AP, the report of an investigator given to the judge was the main reason why the guardianship petition wasn't dismissed yet.
Superior Court Commissioner David Cowan said in his order that Rebecca Jo Soteros was not in the best position to take care of Paul Walker's daughter because of her living conditions. Cheryl Walker, earlier, claimed in her custody petition that Rebecca Jo Soteros has a drinking problem.
Now, Meadow is reportedly hurt by her grandmother's actions, according to E! News.
The teenager has been staying on and off between Cheryl Ann's house and Rebecca Jo Soteros home. And according to E!, she also felt betrayed that nobody told her about Cody and Caleb-Paul Walker's brothers-will play a role in "Fast & Furious 7."
Before all the circus on Paul Walker's daughter's custody battle, both Meadow and Rebecca were living in relative anonymity in Hawaii before the teenager asked to move to L.A. to be with her dad.
Meadow is reportedly shacking up with a family friend, instead of Cheryl Ann and Rebecca Jo Soteros. "She soon hopes to move into a new home in the L.A. area with her mom," the source told the news site.
