LG G3 Release Date rumors suggest that the smartphone is slated to be released on May 28.
The 2013 edition of the LG G2 exposed LG fans to many new designs including a minimalist bezel and volume controls mounted in the rear. The most recent LG G3 leaks suggest the next model will benefit from a 5.5-inch polycarbonate body finished with a brushed metal effect.
Nixanbal, s Bulgarian tech blog reported speaking with sources close to the story saying the LG G3 will target a premium HTC One M8 style finish with less expensive materials.
LG has sent invitations to a G3 launch event, planned for 28 May. Adding to that, press events are scheduled in New York, San Francisco, and London and there will be other news events Singapore, Seoul and Istanbul.
LG's invitations read, "I'm writing to let you know that LG will be hosting an exciting event in London at the end of May to announce our next big global device after G2," adding, "with G2 getting its cooky points for its performance... we will be holding unveiling events in six global cities on May 27 and May 28,"
US network carrier Sprint revealed that "LG G3 will be outfitted with its own octa-core processor called 'Odin'. Ubergizmo leak above, suggest a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with an Adreno 330 GPU. This would put the G3 level with rivals including the Galaxy S5, HTC One M8 and Sony Xperia Z2."
The price, however, is still a speculation but will hover around the G2 price, $299.
LG G3 specs tipped by the latest reports include a 13-megapixel camera, which is exactly what its predecessor the G2 had, and a reworking of the company's rear-mounted controls, sporting smaller buttons adding an LED notification light within the centralised power button.
