The four best Hallyu stars of 2013, Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin of the SBS drama "The Heirs," and Lee Jong Suk and Jung Woo of the cable channel tvN's drama "Reply 1994," are going to compete again this year as movie stars this time around. Actors Lee Min Ho and Kim Woo Bin, who proved their popularity from the SBS Wednesday Thursday drama "The Heirs," are to become two main characters in the movies "Kang Name Blues (Land Gate, Gang Nam 1970)," and "The Technicians," respectively. "The Technicians" is a second movie of a relatively new movie director Kim Hong Sun, who debuted with the movie "The Traffickers" in 2012. Kim Woo Bin has also starred in the movie "Friends 2" in 2012, which is a prequel of the popular Korean movie of the 2000s, "Friends."
Lee Min Ho recently started filming director You Ha's new movie, "Kang Nam Blues," a couple of weeks ago. The movie "Kang Nam Blues" is to premiere sometime in the winter of 2014. Actor Kim Woo Bin is currently fimling the movie "The Technicians," where he plays the role of a robber, and "Twenty," where he is one of the three good friends in their twenties.
Actors Yoo Yeon Suk and Jung Woo are also going to film movies. Jung Woo decided on the movie "C'est Ci Bon," a movie about a man and his first love. His co star will be actress Han Hyo Joo. Yoo Yeon Suk is starring in three different movies, "Subtle Seduction," "Sang Yi Won," and "The Reporter." The new faces of the Korean movie industry will compete again this winter, just like they did in the TV dramas last winter.
