Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Episode 22 Recap: Since Dr. Cristina Yang's loss, the whole Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital had been angered about it. Dr. Webber informed the board that no one can ever win a Harper Avery Award from the hospital because it was majorly owned by the said foundation. He wanted Cristina to appeal the decision, but she didn't want to. Meredith just convinced her to fly to Zurich and present her study.

During her presentation, she was bothered when someone from the audience had been asking a lot of questions and to her surprise; it was her ex-fiance Dr. Preston Burke. He was running the hospital they are in and invited her to perform a surgery with him later that afternoon.

Burke was accused of being manipulative, since he moved Cristina's flight. She then joined him at his surgery. At first, she wasn't really impressed, but when he showed him a hologram of the patient's heart. He showed him 49 working printers in the hospital and she admitted that she wanted to print a fully functioning beating heart. Burke gave him an offer to do the project there, but she was convinced that he just wanted her in his life. Until she found out that he is happily married.

Meredith and Cristina had been exchanging voice mails while she was away. Cristina said that all she wanted was in Zurich, except that Burke is there. The following day, she declined the offer and when she was asked why, Yang told him that she never wanted to work for him again and the day he walked away from the altar was the best thing for him. Shockingly, Burke didn't want to work with Cristina because it might ruin his marriage, but what he really wanted was for her to take over for him.

Meredith was there to pick up Cristina at the airport. She was smiling when she arrived and Mer already knew that her person will be leaving.
