Horrible Bosses 2 News: The trio of Jason Bateman (Nick Hendricks), Charlie Day (Dale Arbus), and Jason Sudeikis (Kurt Buckman) will be back for a sequel as they are set to reprise their roles on Horrible Bosses 2!
Other cast members who will also be back on a recurring role would be the 'Horrible' bosses Kevin Spacey (Dave Harken) and Jennifer Aniston (Julia Harris)
Various sources indicate that the trio will no longer be the employees they were on the first movie.
According to comingsoon.com, the plot would revolve on Nick, Dale, and Kurt being fed up with answering to higher-ups, thus deciding to become their own bosses by launching their own business. But a slick investor soon pulls the rug out from under them. Outplayed and desperate, and with no legal recourse, the three would-be entrepreneurs hatch a misguided plan to kidnap the investor's adult son and ransom him to regain control of their company.
The interesting part would be the return of Kevin Spacey (Dave Harken), will he be able to get out of prison and also is Jennifer Aniston (Julia Harris) role, after getting blackmailed by Charlie Day (Dale Arbus), how will they get back to the protagonists? Could this mean a team-up with the new antagonist is imminent?
If the rumored plot turns out legit, the role 'slick investor' will probably be portrayed by either Chris Pine or Christoph Waltz.
The film will still be directed by Sean Anders and the release date of Horrible Bosses 2 is set to November 28, 2014.
