The new installment of the Transfromers franchise, Transformers: Age of Extinction has some pretty heavy spoilers out right now as new plot details from the movie has been unveiled and two new Dinobots Snarl, and Sludge have been hinted to join the movie. Plus, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe will voice Autobot members Hound and Drift.

We already know that the new plot of the Transformers movie centers on an new protagonist Cade Yeager as he discovered a Transfromer robot and brought it to his house to tinker with it, then all of a sudden government agents showed up to take the robot and it retaliates. The Autobots now are being hunted by a shadow operative of thr government, and Decpeticons return to cause chaos once again. The Dinobots showed up and a new battle begins.

So far that's Age of Extinction in a nutshell, but some new details showed up regarding the plot and it says that the Decepticon Lockdown will be the key to a whole new Transformers trilogy. According to an interview from Entertainment Weekly, director Michael bay hints on a poossible new trilogy for the movie franchise.

"It's kind of like a new Transformers. We had three, the first trilogy, and this is going to be the next one." The next...trilogy? "Yeah, it's the first of a new trilogy. I'm not necessarily sure that I'm doing [the others], but that's what it's meant for."

"Lockdown is an interesting character. He travels the galaxy, he works for somebody else. And he's here for one person, one alien, and then he's out of here. So he doesn't really want to take sides. The cause and balance of the galaxy is kind of messed up when different species play with different species. And that opens up a whole other gigantic world for Transformers."

So how does Snarl and Sludge fit into all of this? Recently a video uploaded by The Ragin Nation featured some new toylines from the movie and two new Dinobots showed up to join Grimlock and the gang. Here's the video below.

Snarl and Sludge are two of the five core members of the Dinobots in the Transformers mythos. Sludge now named Slog is a Brontosaurus of the group while Snarl is a hybrid of Stegasaurus and Ankylosaurus. It's unclear yet whether this two will join the rest of the Dinobots in the movie, but we'll just wait in see if these two showed up when the movie screens on June 27.

Meanwhile, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe are hired to lend their voices on two Autobots, The old war veteran Hound and the samurai like robot Drift. Michael welcomed the two actors and he's pleased to hear them agree to his request.

"I am pleased to welcome two gifted and versatile actors, John Goodman and Ken Watanabe, to the world of Transformers. And to reteam with Peter and Frank, who have brought Transformers characters alive from the beginning. I've been fortunate to work with some of the best voice talent in the business, and together we will introduce several exciting new robots to fans of the franchise around the world."
