Kill La Kill returns as the hit anime series gets an English Dub and episode 1 of Kill La Kill will be shown in the much awaited Anime Expo 2014 along with some special guests attending the event. Will Kill La Kill's English Dub be better than the Japanese Dub?

The Anime Expo announced that the convention will host a special "Kill La Kill event" along with Aniplex USA in Los Angeles from July 3-6. The event will screen episode 1 of Kill La Kill's English dub, a concert performance from Japanese singer Eir Aio, and special guests appearances from the cast of Kill La Kill which include the show's original story and script writer Kazuki Nakashima, character designer and animation director SUSHIO, producer Yosuke Toba, and voice actresses Ami Koshimizu (Ryuko Matoi, the main character) and Ryoka Yuzuki (Satsuki Kiryuin).

Here is the official statement from the event.

"For one night only, all of the guests will be part of a special Kill la Kill event on Friday, July 4th. This star-studded event will feature a variety of programming including a special talk session with all the Kill la Kill guests, an exclusive screening of the English Dub Premiere of Kill la Kill, and a special concert featuring Eir Aoi, singer of the opening theme song. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of one of the biggest Kill la Kill events in history!"

Tickets for the Kill la Kill event will be sold independently of Anime Expo tickets beginning on Thursday. AX Premier Fans will be able to order tickets early beginning on Monday evening.

Anime fans will be excited to see how Kill La Kill will sound like in English dub at the Anime Expo or in other media. Although some anime fanatics are skeptical about the show's English format. A blogger from a certain Japanese/English website stated his/her thoughts on the anime.

"As many of you know, Aniplex of America licensed Kill la Kill, pretty obvious, isn't it? Yes, I know, but i don't care about your cruddy opinion about the stupid bullcrap of overpricing its releases. (I think Sony Pictures should buy Aniplex as a joint with Sony Music.) So, the anime must likely be dubbed by Bang! Zoom Entertainment in LA."

"To be honest, I think Aniplex US should take a break from making english dubs made by B!Z and do other ones from either Studiopolis, Ocean or New Generation, or maybe NYAV Post, but that is just my opinion and I wish Aniplex US would have listened to me. Don't get me wrong, man. I love Bang Zoom dubs, but I think another dubbing company should do it for Aniplex."

"I should say, that Studiopolis should dub Kill la Kill, unlike Gurren Lagann, which it was done by Bang Zoom. LOL."

Will Kill La Kill English dub entertain anime fans the same way as the Japanese? Sound off your comments below!
