Samsung Chromebook 2 release date was geared for April, but now it looks as if pre-orders will go into June.
The first Chromebook came out in 2012. It looks like the Samsung Chromebook 2 is almost ready to make its debut. But Samsung Chromebook 2, available for pre-order is ready for shipping on the 28th will not ship until the last week of May, according to Samsung.
A probable cause for delay has not been provided.
Samsung's highly anticipated laptops come in two forms: 11.6-inch screen display model with 250-nit brightness and a 13.3-inch model, both of which have 4GB RAM; these operate on Exynos 5 Octa 5800 ARM processor.
Samsung Chromebook 2's performance with the Exynos 5 Octa processor is a best-in-class 1920 x 1080 display. The device shows off up a speedy boot at 10 seconds and comes in an elegant and sleek design.
It has a coveted battery life, which lasts up to 8.5 hours. It is also primed for Google Support for Schools and Google Play for Education. With a hard drive memory of 16GB, the RAM on the laptop is 3.5 GB out of its 4GB RAM.
The two Samsung Chromebook models are priced at $319.99 (for the 11) and $399.99 (13").
Ahead of the announced launch, a video of Samsung Chromebook 2 compared the Samsung's new laptop with a Chrome S.
Both models have created much online buzz and discussion, and the Chromebook 2 comes as a highly-anticipated device. However, Samsung is taking pre-orders early this month, and it looks like Samsung is delaying its Chromebook 2 sales the end of June.
