Its official, Capcom has announced the release date of Ultra Street Fighter 4 as the new game trailer features Elena, Hugo, Poison, Rolento, and Decapre showing off their new look. Is Ultra Street Fighter 4 the best Street Fighter game yet?
Ultra Street Fighter 4 comes to North America on June 3 and in Europe on June 4 for The PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and the PC. Gamers can also upgrade their old copies of Street Fighter 4 in the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live for only $14.99.
On August 5, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 retail versions will be in stores, with the full digital bundles available for download. Both the digital upgrade and full digital bundle for the PC will downloaded via Steam on August 8.
Players who pre-order the digital upgrade of Ultra Street Fighter 4 on European PSN or the full retail version at select retailers will receive the 2014 Challengers Costume Pack, consisting of alternate costumes for each of the five new characters for free.
The game trailer also featured the alternate costumes of the five characters that are joining the game: Jungle Elena, Medieval Hugo, Pirate Poison, Wizard Rolento, and Gladiator Decapre.
With five new characters to choose from, new gameplay mechanics to tinker, and new game modes to explore. Ultra Street Fighter 4 could be the best version, or quite possibly the best Street Fighter game of all time.
