"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie will reportedly have a wine as author E.L. James enters a deal with a California winemaker to produce signature spirit based on the erotic novel. Meanwhile, cast Victor Rasuk said that the film adaptation will appeal to men as well.
According to Reno Gazette-Journal, the partnership will result to the winemaker producing "Fifty Shades of Grey Red Satin" and "Fifty Shades of Grey White Silk."
"Wine plays an important role in 'Fifty Shades of Grey,' reflecting the sensuality that pervades every encounter between Anastasia and Christian," E.L. James told the publication.
She added: "I've always had a penchant for good wine, so helping to create the blends Red Satin and White Silk felt like a natural extension of the 'Fifty Shades' trilogy."
Meanwhile, "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie cast Victor Rasuk disabused the perception that the film adaptation is catered only to the female demographic.
"It allows you to see different sides of what men go through. I think a lot of men can relate to it, not just women," he told Fox News Latino.
Victor Rasuk plays José Rodriguez, the best friend of Anastasia Steele and also the rival of Christian Grey when it comes to her heart. He confessed that he only read the book for research purposes after he landed the coveted role.
So when he read the book, he immediately understood what the hype was all about.
He also revealed to the website that everybody in Hollywood auditioned for his part so he was lucky to get the role.
