Actor Kim Hye Sung's image as a high school student was engraved in the minds of the viewers, but now that he's become more mature, he wants to break away from this stereotype.
With a natural and comfortable photo shoot theme, the actor posed for beauty magazine "Marie Claire", and in the accompanying interview, he said, "I'm still remembered as the character from 'High Kick', a drama which was aired seven or eight years ago, and some even think that I'm still in high school."
"It's actually problematic for me. I'm really jealous of those who have prominent facial features and a manly aura. I hope I can find a project that would suit the twenty-seven year old me."
He added, "I've learned taekwondo when I was young, and I have the sense of competition, patience and will instilled in me. In the future, I'd like to try a role in an action film. It might take a toll on me physically, but I think I will enjoy the challenge.
On his future plans, "When I was on 'High Kick', the director praised me and told me that I can pull of different roles. Instead of trying to be a big star, I want to find something that suits me."
