Robin Thicke News 2014: Robin Thicke wishes Paula Patton back. The 'Blurred Lines' singer goes about it by courting her through writing her sentimental love song. Thicke, 37, debuted his new song "Get Her Back" at the Billboard Music Awards last Sunday, TMZ reported.
"I should've kissed you longer, I should've held you stronger, And I'll wait for forever for you," the lyrics of the song says.
According to Page Six, this isn't the first time Alan Thicke's son has publicly begged for Patton, 38, to take him back.
The singer addressed the crowd during a March concert at Madison Square Garden, saying, "We gotta learn to forgive each other, you know, learn to love each other, no matter who it is in your family or relationship ... Hold on tight to the one you love."
Thicke and Patton are high school sweethearts who met in Los Angeles when Thicke was just 14 and Patton, 16. They married in 2005 and had their only child, son Julian Fuego, in April 2010.
Robin Thicke had a stepped forward last year with the hit Blurred Lines, which was nominated for several Grammy Awards. Patton has performed in the films Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Idlewild and Precious. The actress also appeared in Thicke's music videos including Lost Without U and Love After War. She's been on the cover of his 2003 debut, A Beautiful World.
ENews reported that the last public appearance of the couple together was just weeks ago at the Grammy Award, where Thicke performed and Patton attracted all sorts of attention for her dramatic zebra-striped dress.
According to Mail Online, Thicke has been caught in series of bad situation after his song Blurred Lines became a breakout hit in July 2013.
After his performance with Miley Cyrus who twerked in his face during the MTV Music Video Awards, he was caught with his hand on socialite Lana Scolaro's behind. The image was caught in a reflection of the mirror behind the married star as he smiled for the photo.
