Looks like the Agent Carter TV series is on the go as the star of the show, Hayley Atwell talks about her character Peggy Carter! What can fans expect from the show? Read on!

With the Agent Carter TV series finally confirmed and having a scheduled release date. It seems that Marvel Studios and ABC will have their hands full once production is in the works. Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell revealed some new details about the show in a video interview with Marvel.

"It's surreal and humbling that the character that you played four years ago, when you've done other jobs in other genres, calls you back."

"I feel like there's a responsibility to make sure she's what everyone wants her to be," she continues. "Fans have seen her being capable, being sexy, being a femme fatale, and they want to see something more, they want to see the complexities... what makes her tick."

Atwell continued on by saying.

"I think over the arc of the eight episodes, there will be different facets to who she is, which won't disappoint the fans. There are many different ideas behind who she is, and I think she's going to become more interesting."

Meanwhile Agent Carter is set to have at least 8 episodes for this season and will continue on further episodes once the show gets some positive results within the network. There are already rumors that Iron Man/Tony Stark's father Howard Stark will appear in the show along with the rest of Captain America's Howling Commandos, and the air date will be on the fall of 2014 to 2015 along with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2.

Marvel fans are itching to know whether Agent Carter would be a strong contender to the other upcoming TV shows that are lining up this year such as "Gotham", "Constantine", and "The Flash". If Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. can do it, so can Agent Carter.
